Linen and textured woven upholstery bring a relaxed surface to seating and bedrooms.
A material to live with
A woven fabric changes slightly with the direction of its fibres and the light in the room. It is best judged with a sample at home, beside the other colours and materials that will surround it. A gently textured weave can be more forgiving visually than a flat, shiny surface.
Look at it in your room
Bring the material into the light where it will be used. Morning and evening light can make a finish feel quite different, and the colours nearby will affect how warm or cool it appears. Choose a combination that feels comfortable over time rather than relying only on a small screen image.
Simple care
Vacuum gently with an upholstery attachment. Blot spills rather than rubbing and ask for cleaning advice before using a product on a visible area.
